Analog vacancy example 2
Responsible for design and layout of high performance analog and mixed signal
ICs for serial communications. Working with multi-disciplinary teams to assist
with product specification, evaluation and debug. Candidates must be qualified
with a good honours degree
Responsibilities would include:
High speed circuit design
- Schematic Entry
- Simulation using Cadence Spectre and
SpectreRF
- Familiarity with high speed Bipolar, BiCMOS and analog CMOS design techniques
- Familiarity with HDL and scripting considered a plus
Custom RF Layout
- Full custom layout of high speed circuitry to 12Gbs-1
- Solid understanding of device physics and physical effects
- Parasitic extraction and optimisation
Analog vacancy example 3
We are looking for an analog design engineer to work on innovative
silicon, systems and software:
- Design high speed analog blocks for Analog Front-End to be integrated in
GbE PHY Ethernet products.
- Simulation and verification of the analog blocks.
- Support the integration in the upper
levels of circuit hierarchy.
- Use characterization equipment to evaluate and debug the design once
the part is fabricated in silicon.
- Provide technical leadership for aforementioned blocks through all
phases of product development which includes: test, yield,
characterization, reliability analysis, qualification and release
to manufacturing.
Functional/Industry Knowledge:
- Proven experience in transistor level analog CMOS circuit design.
- Strong physical layout knowledge and parasitic component understanding
essential.
- Process and device physics knowledge critical.
- Experience using Cadence environment as design flow required.
- Proven skills using analog simulators (SPICE, Spectre).
- Skills with high level behavioural
simulators (AMS, MATLAB)
- Proven skills using electronic measurement equipment in a lab
environment
